This is what I’ve been waiting until end of term to do – move my main blog to an equally new website. The whole process has not been without bumps. I bought the domain a while ago – tech4learning.ca – and kept focused on work and my studies as I knew it would take some dedicated time to make it happen. In the end, had it gone smoothly it would not have been an issue. I set up a subdomain for my blog (my main site is at http://tech4learning.ca) and was about to install Wordpress when the web server went down – for more than two days. Not the best start for a new customer.

Wordpress installed very quickly, as advertised. I did have some challenges moving my old blog to here (file permission problems). And then my Archive and About pages wouldn’t display. But in the end I always figure I’m better off if it doesn’t work perfectly because then I have to figure out a solution. And in so doing I learn more about the products for future use.

So here I am. A couple of plugins installed and I’m on my way. And if you’re here, you found me. Looking forward to chatting with you!
